This time she is set out to cover the Italian food festival. The former food columnist wanted her job back, so they will both be writing for the paper to see who will get to keep the job.On top of that, Jordan's boyfriend's mom and sister are in town for the festival (sister Kate is one of the person in charge of the festival), and then someone got murdered and Kate is the chief suspected.No Jordan and the gang are out to proof her innocence and keep her job.Fun book, and a lot of good time with Victor (I loved him, he is such of hoot). I also loved Jordan boyfriends mom who is different from you typical crazy boyfriend mom. While on assignment, she finds herself embroiled in a murder when her boyfriend’s sister become a prime suspect and this is when the fun begins in this entertaining and engaging whodunit. Wherever Jordan goes, trouble follows in a humorous way as Jordan and her friend get the clues necessary to bring a killer to justice. Jordan McAllister is still trying to hang on to her job as a food critic for the local paper, even though the previous woman wants her job back. And they are both sent to cover an Italian Festival and compete with columns about the food there. Jordan somehow manages to combine that project with proving her boyfriend Alex's sister Kate did not murder one of those Festival Italians! She finally gets to meet Alex's mother, and they become instant friends! I soon had suspicions about who the actual murderer really was, but I never would have guessed the ending!
