I'm homeschooled in 12th grade, so I don't have a teacher helping me understand the language. I remembered using another edition of No Fear Shakespeare in the past (A Midsummer Night's Dream) for my 8th grade English class, so I decided to try it again.This story is amazing, and I'm grateful to be able to fully understand it now. I read through it in a couple of days and honestly enjoyed every moment of it. What I love is that I was able to easily look over to the original text when I wanted to get a feel for the writing style - important with this story, because it includes a lot of songs and poetry - but the translations make it easier to understand.I got an A on my book report which I never would've achieved without the help of Spark Notes!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Makes Understanding EasierBy Cleopatra Y.I wont speak of the content as much as I will the quality of the product. The play has the same words as the other original "Twelfth Night" scripts. The book was ordered on Aug 19 and delivered on the 24th from Cedar Hill book company. I ordered a second hand book and the book that I received is in excellent condition, it is hardcover but still very lightweight. On the right hand side of the page is the Modern English translation of Shakespeare's language. I ordered this book as well as some other Shakespeare plays to teach my students. However, I did not purchase the others in No Fear because the other translated books come along with activities and study guides. The No Fear books only provide the translation and no other resource. ElliottTwelfth Night is by far the most fun of the five comedies that I have read recently; this one, Love's Labour's Lost, Much Ado about Nothing, The Taming of the Shrew and Measure for Measure. I truly enjoyed it. Afterwards, I also saw two CD's of the production; then one live one in Oxford, this past summer. As a result, my appreciation of the story has gone up considerably.Much of the fun is based on mistaken identity, mismatched lovers and a very pompous steward to Countess Olivia.
